Valerie suggested I post a picture and I don't know why I didn't initially. The cake was filled with cherry filling, covered with vanilla icing, and then decorated with marshmallow fondant. It came out okay and the bow didn't deflate like I initially thought it would.

Yes, Dan and I watched those three movies last night. Originally, Dan and I were talking about watching Soul Food and then How Stella Got Her Groove Back, but we sadly, the latter wasn't OnDemand and although I swear Dan has a copy of the movie on DVD, we couldn't find it. Dan asked if there was a sequel to Soul Food and I said yes, it's called "Soul Food 2: Just Desserts" and I'm pretty sure that was the best thing to come out of that movie.

More reviews will come later, but you know how that goes. I'm hoping to watch something good tonight, like a Marx Bros. movie, so we'll see if that happens.

So remember all that fondant and talk of "amazing cake?" Well here's the payoff.

It was made with an immense amount of love and hasn't been eaten yet. If you're curious about the guts of the cake, it is a white two layer cake with cherry filling and chocolate icing under a blue marshmallow fondant. The decoration is all fondant as well. Everything is edible and will be eaten.

I love cakes.

1. Ben Folds Five is reuniting for a benefit concert/tour (more than likely it's just a few concerts since Ben Folds has his own thing going on). This means that on September 18th, come hell or high water, I'm trekking down to North Carolina and attending their concert....

2. I'm moving. And moving requires a place to move INTO. I'm having issues finding that new place. I'm thinking of going it alone, but I'm definitely open to the possibility of someone new living with me.

3. Things have been good. My portfolio and having a full time job is crushing me at times, but I'm still finding time to hang out with people. But not sleep. Hah!
